The Renegades started using drones because, aside from them being an awful lot of fun and allowing the children to feel in control, they are quite simply the future. There are a whole host of skills and opportunities created by using drones. Drones are now used for film making, photography, agriculture, environmental studies, transporting goods and wildlife study - and that's just to name a few! The drones give an opportunity to see the world from a view that is only normally only open to birds and airplane pilots.
Drone Flying
Fully qualified and insured
The Renegades is a registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). We have CAA flying licences and all our young people over the age of 13 undergo full training to be certified by the CAA. We have also made ourselves known to Sussex police as a drone flying organisation.
We are fully insured and compliant with all regulations. We test fly, create flight plans, monitor weather and keep maintenance and log books for each drone. We do not fly in restricted airspace.
Thanks to
We only use DJI drones because they are the industry leader and frankly we just love them! As a company, they are incredibly attentive and constantly communicate with us about what we are doing, and are a great source of information. Their drones are easy to handle, spectacularly powerful, give the children unbelievable creative energy and are of the highest quality. I can 100% trust them.
